This first audio release from the SPIRIT:level project originated from the concrete block mini CD artefact issued to coincide with a debut public performance at the Whitworth Art Gallery on 14th July 2016.

Wind howls through city buildings. An eerie sound emanates from Manchester's Beetham Tower, transmitting directly across the former site of the concrete prefabricated Crescent structures that sprung from the slum cleared streets of Hulme. SPIRIT:level harnesses this ghostly noise into a soulful, beautiful song.
